LOS ANGELES, CA (October 20, 2024) – Los Angeles Police are actively searching for two vehicles involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident that left a motorcyclist dead in Granada Hills. The accident happened at around 9:50 p.m. on October 17, on Devonshire Street near Louise Avenue.
The motorcyclist, a man in his early 20s, was reportedly speeding and ran a red light when he collided with another vehicle. The force of the impact ejected him from his bike onto the westbound traffic lanes, where he was subsequently run over by two passing vehicles—a white SUV followed by a white sedan. Both vehicles did not stop and fled the scene.
The young man was pronounced dead at the site of the accident. In response, the LAPD is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the individuals involved.
