
HESPERIA, CA – A hit-and-run crash in Hesperia on Monday night left a man on a motorized mobility scooter injured.
The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Main Street and I Avenue, where emergency responders found the victim lying in the roadway near a 76 gas station. The driver who struck the scooter fled the scene before deputies could arrive.
The injured man, a local who frequently visits the gas station to buy a lottery ticket, was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not disclosed any details about the suspect vehicle or the driver involved in the Hesperia hit-and-run.
