SPRING VALLEY, CA (November 25, 2024) – Two teenage girls were hospitalized early Monday morning after a vehicle pursuit ended in a crash in Spring Valley, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. when deputies attempted to stop a car on Bancroft Drive for an unspecified traffic violation. The vehicle fled onto eastbound state Route 94, initiating a brief chase.
The car eventually veered off the road and struck a tree. Emergency responders transported two teenage girls to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been disclosed. Four other juveniles in the car were detained and questioned at the scene, but no arrests had been reported as of 6:30 a.m.
Sheriff’s deputies are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Spring Valley crash.
