OAKLAND, CA – A worker died Thursday morning in a work-related accident in Oakland, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. on the 400 block of 30th Street in the Pill Hill neighborhood. Officers from the Oakland Police Department found the individual unresponsive with severe injuries.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the worker dead. Police are investigating the cause of the accident, but details remain scarce. It is unclear what type of worksite the individual was at, though there is ongoing construction at the address.
