Norwalk Car Crash: Car Strikes Ambulance, Seven Hospitalized
NORWALK, CA (May 12, 2024) — A serious accident occurred in Norwalk on Friday night when a car crashed into an ambulance at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Studebaker Road.
The incident, reported shortly after 9 p.m., involved a car colliding with an ambulance that was responding to an emergency with its lights and sirens activated.
According to deputies, the impact caused the ambulance to veer into another vehicle that was stationary at a red light. In total, seven people were hospitalized, including the occupants of the stationary car, the patients and a paramedic from the ambulance, and the driver of the car that initiated the collision.
