One Injured in Canyon Country Accident After Car Overturns and Hits Market

CANYON COUNTRY, CA (August 29, 2024) — A vehicle overturned and struck the Rainbow Market in Canyon Country on Wednesday evening, resulting in one person being transported to the hospital.
The incident happened around 10:50 p.m. at the 26900 block of Rainbow Glenn Drive, according to Deputy Robert Jensen of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The vehicle reportedly overturned and caught fire after crashing into the building. The driver managed to escape from the wreckage on their own before first responders arrived.
Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesperson Kaitlyn Aldana confirmed that the injured individual was transported to the hospital at 11:05 p.m. The cause of the Canyon Country accident is still under investigation.
