Pedestrian Fatally Struck by SacRT Bus in North Natomas

SACRAMENTO, CA (September 10, 2024) — A pedestrian in his 60s was fatally struck by a Sacramento RT bus on Monday morning in the North Natomas neighborhood, according to Sacramento police.
The incident happened just after 8:30 a.m. near Club Center and Banfield drives. The details leading up to the collision remain unclear, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SacRT bus accident involved an RT Smart Ride. The driver remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities.
