Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Early Morning Midway District Crash
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 4, 2024) — An early morning traffic incident in the Midway District of San Diego has left a female pedestrian seriously injured. The collision occurred shortly before 3:30 a.m. when a 65-year-old man driving a white Ford F-250 pickup truck struck the woman as she stood in the northbound left lane of Camino Del Rio West, outside of a marked crosswalk.
The injured pedestrian was promptly transported to a local hospital. While her injuries are serious, they have been determined to be non-life-threatening. Authorities have not yet released her identity.
