Police Investigate Deadly Accident Near Lake Tahoe
TAHOMA, CA (July 23, 2024) — California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly accident in Tahoma near Lake Tahoe, where a man was reportedly crushed by a rolling vehicle.
The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. in the area of Lake Boulevard and Pine Street. According to CHP, a 53-year-old man from Hayward, CA, attempted to stop an unoccupied Ford F-450 truck as it rolled through a parking lot. The man became trapped between the side of the Ford and the side of the truck’s trailer.
The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The accident near Lake Tahoe remains under investigation.
