Red Light Runner Causes Violent Collision in San Fernando Valley
SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA (March 22, 2024) — A white Mercedes Benz ran a red light and collided with an SUV in the San Fernando Valley late Wednesday night.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Saticoy Street in Sun Valley, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The footage reveals the Mercedes disregarding the red light at high speed, resulting in a catastrophic collision. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department rushed to the scene, transporting three individuals from the Mercedes, including a pregnant woman, to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV reportedly emerged unscathed.
As investigations continue, authorities have yet to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the Sun Valley car crash.
