Scooter Rider Dies in West Adams Car Crash
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 22, 2024) — A 46-year-old man riding a scooter died after colliding with a car in Los Angeles’s West Adams neighborhood on Saturday evening.
The incident reportedly occurred around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Hauser Boulevard and Jefferson Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Investigators are still determining the circumstances that led to the West Adams car crash. The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said. Aerial footage showed the scooter lying in the middle of the road, several feet away from where officials had covered the victim’s body with a white tent. No further details have been released.
