Search Underway for Suspect in Ingleside Hit-and-Run Fatality
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 30, 2024) — The San Francisco Police Department is urgently requesting the public’s help to identify and locate a suspect involved in a deadly hit-and-run incident. The collision occurred in the Ingleside District on February 25, at approximately 6:49 p.m., near the intersection of Alemany Boulevard and Rousseau Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, responding officers found a male pedestrian who had sustained life-threatening injuries. He was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver responsible for the Ingleside hit-and-run fled the scene, and efforts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful. The vehicle in question is described as a dark-colored Toyota Camry, models from 1997 to 2001, which likely has significant front-end damage, damaged headlights, and a missing Toyota emblem.
The last known direction of the suspect’s vehicle was eastbound on Alemany Boulevard. As of now, no arrests have been made. The San Francisco Police Department is appealing to anyone with information about the incident to come forward to aid in their investigation.
