Seven Injured in Major Multi-Car Crash in Temecula
TEMECULA, CA (May 27, 2024) — A severe four-car crash in Temecula on Sunday evening left seven people injured.
According to CalFire officials, the collision occurred around 7 p.m. on Butterfield Stage Road near Channel Street. Four victims were hospitalized, with two suffering serious injuries and two sustaining moderate injuries. Three others were treated at the scene but declined further medical care.
Firefighters reported that all four vehicles involved sustained major damage, and extrication efforts were necessary to rescue some victims. The cause of the multi-car crash in Temecula is under investigation. Video from the scene shows extensive damage to the vehicles, and the intersection was closed for hours during the investigation.
