Spring Valley Hit-and-Run Leaves Pedestrian Dead
SPRING VALLEY, CA (April 17, 2024) — A hit-and-run accident resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Spring Valley on Monday night, as reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident occurred around 11 p.m. along the eastbound lane of State Route 94, west of Old Campo Road.
Authorities disclosed that a 65-year-old man was walking southbound when he was struck by an eastbound 2016 blue Audi A4, driven by a 48-year-old man from Lemon Grove. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Following the collision, the driver of the Audi fled on foot.
