Studio City Announces $50K Reward For Info on Hit-and-Run [Los Angeles, CA]

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 8, 2024) —

A pedestrian in her 30s was fatally struck by a red sedan in a hit-and-run incident on Ventura Boulevard, Studio City, around 6 p.m. on February 7. 

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is now seeking public assistance to track down the driver who fled the scene westbound after the collision.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Her identity has yet to be disclosed, pending family notification by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

In an effort to bring the responsible party to justice, the city is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the driver involved in the fatal Studio City hit-and-run crash. 

The LAPD urges witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to contact the Valley Traffic Division Officer Reyes or Detective Ortega. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers.
