Three Injured in Redondo Beach Multi-Car Crash
REDONDO BEACH, CA (August 18, 2024) — A high-speed chase led to a multi-car crash in Redondo Beach on Saturday afternoon, resulting in three people being hospitalized.
The incident began when a suspect, wanted for a battery incident near a pier restaurant, fled the scene, ignoring stop signs and red lights.
Despite Redondo Beach Police not actively pursuing the vehicle, the suspect’s reckless driving led to a collision involving five cars at Avenue F and Catalina Avenue. The suspect, along with two other individuals, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Once recovered, the suspect in this Redondo Beach multi-car crash is expected to face charges.
