Tragic Crash Claims Lives of Two Teens in Rancho Cucamonga
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (March 9, 2024) — A tragic accident in Rancho Cucamonga claimed the lives of two teenagers and left another hospitalized after their vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Friday.
The incident, which happened at around 4:25 p.m. on Wilson Avenue just past Haven Avenue, involved the car colliding with an electric power pole and subsequently hitting a tree.
Upon arrival, emergency responders endeavored to provide medical assistance to the occupants. Tragically, a 17-year-old male driver and a 15-year-old female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
Another 17-year-old male passenger was transported to a local hospital, where he is being treated for injuries deemed non-life-threatening. It is believed, though not officially confirmed, that all three victims were students at the nearby Los Osos High School.
