Two Hospitalized After Car Bursts into Flames in Valley Glen Collision

VALLEY GLEN, CA (July 2, 2024) — Two men were hospitalized after their car burst into flames following a multi-car collision in Valley Glen, Los Angeles County, on Monday night.
The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. when the men’s car rear-ended a parked vehicle, causing a chain-reaction collision with two other parked cars. Shortly after the impact, the men’s car caught fire.
Fortunately, both men escaped the wreckage before the fire engulfed their vehicle. The blaze also damaged the rear of the initial car they crashed into, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Firefighters reported that one man was in fair condition, while the other was in serious condition when they were transported to the hospital.
