Two Injured After Car Crashes Into SacRT Bus Near Florin

SACRAMENTO, CA (August 12, 2024) — Two people were injured on Sunday morning when a car reportedly ran a red light and collided with a Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) bus near Florin. The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Florin Road, according to SacRT spokeswoman Devra Selenis.
The driver of the car and one bus passenger were both taken to the hospital. According to Selenis, their injuries were minor and non-life-threatening, and they may have already been released.
The car vs. SacRT bus crash is currently under investigation.
