SANTA CLARITA, CA (September 16, 2024) — A vehicle fell 70 feet into an embankment early Sunday morning near Via Princessa and Whites Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, resulting in hospitalization for two individuals. The crash occurred just after midnight, with emergency responders arriving at the scene within minutes.
Deputy Villalobos of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and Imy Velderrain, supervising fire dispatcher, reported that the vehicle launched off the roadway and into a wash below. The two occupants were swiftly transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment. The severity of their injuries was not immediately disclosed.
