Verdict Pending in Tragic Westlake Village DUI Case That Killed 2 Young Boys
WESTLAKE, CA (February 23, 2024) — The community awaits a verdict as the jury deliberates the case of Rebecca Grossman, a Hidden Hills socialite implicated in a fatal DUI crash that claimed the lives of two young brothers in Westlake Village in 2020.
Grossman, 60, faces grave charges, including two counts of second-degree murder and vehicular manslaughter, following the tragic incident involving 8-year-old Jacob Iskander and 11-year-old Mark Iskander.
The six-week trial at Van Nuys Superior Court saw its final arguments on
Thursday, with a decision anticipated soon. The prosecution alleges Grossman was driving over 70 mph in a 45 mph zone when she struck the Iskander brothers in a crosswalk.
