Walmart Truck Overturns in Apple Valley Crash Involving Multiple Vehicles

VICTORVILLE, CA (May 4, 2024) — A severe traffic accident in Apple Valley involved a Walmart semi-truck and two cars, leading to the truck overturning. The incident took place at the intersection of Dale Evans Parkway and Quarry Road around 6:56 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
The Apple Valley Police Department reported that the crash began when a Toyota sedan, driven by a 33-year-old man from Victorville, ran a stop sign. This error caused the Toyota to collide with the semi-truck, which then lost control. The truck went on to hit a parked Nissan and an electrical pole before tipping over.
Following the accident, the semi-truck’s driver, a 48-year-old man from Apple Valley, experienced high blood pressure and required ambulance transport. The Toyota driver sustained moderate injuries and needed to be airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for further medical care.
