Woman Killed in Coalinga Tesla Crash Identified

FRESNO, CA (August 15, 2024) — The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who died in a fatal accident involving a Tesla near Coalinga.
On August 10, early in the morning, a Tesla traveling southbound on Highway 269 near Ford Avenue collided with a truck driven by a Dinuba resident. The Tesla, heading from Vista, veered into the truck’s path, leading to a collision.
The passenger in the Tesla, 27-year-old Tiffany Boone from Vista, California, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Tesla sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the truck suffered a leg injury. The cause of the Coalinga Tesla crash is still under investigation.
