Woman Killed in Gardena Hit-and-Run
GARDENA, CA (August 25, 2024) — A woman was killed late Saturday night in Gardena after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Rosecrans Avenue, according to police. The incident occurred around 11:54 p.m. in the 1600 block, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives believe the driver was traveling eastbound on Rosecrans Avenue when the vehicle hit the victim. The identity of the woman has not been released.
