Woman Seriously Injured in San Diego Three-Wheeler Crash
San Diego, CA (August 8, 2024) — A 67-year-old woman sustained life-threatening injuries Tuesday night after her three-wheeled motorcycle collided with a parked vehicle in San Diego’s Paradise Hills neighborhood, according to the San Diego Police Department (SDPD).
The incident occurred around 9:59 p.m. as the woman was traveling westbound on Parkside Avenue. Authorities report that she was speeding when she failed to navigate a bend in the road, causing her to crash into a parked vehicle.
Emergency responders transported the woman to a hospital, where she was treated for serious injuries, including an open fracture to her right wrist, a right femur fracture, and a spinal fracture.
The SDPD Traffic Division is investigating the San Diego three-wheeler crash to determine the cause.
