Woodbridge Vehicle Crash on Highway 12 Leaves Several Injured

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (August 14, 2024) — Emergency responders from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and Woodbridge Fire District were called to a serious multi-vehicle accident on Highway 12 early Tuesday morning.
The collision, involving four vehicles, happened on the Tower Park Bridge around 4:45 a.m., according to Woodbridge Fire Chief Darin Downey.
One of the vehicles was found hanging precariously off the bridge, as reported by the Woodbridge Fire District. The cause of the Woodbridge vehicle crash is still under investigation, and Chief Downey noted that one individual was airlifted to a nearby hospital, while two others received immediate medical attention at the scene. Their conditions remain unknown.
