LOS ANGELES, CA – A multi-vehicle crash in Diamond Bar early Tuesday morning left one person dead and another hospitalized.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of the collision at approximately 12:18 a.m. near West Temple Avenue and West Mission Boulevard. Pomona Police Department officers and LA County Fire Department crews also arrived at the scene, where one person was pronounced dead. The second victim was transported to a local hospital, though their condition remains unclear.
Authorities have not released details about what led up to the crash, and the investigation is ongoing. This fatal collision comes just a week after a semi-truck crash on the 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar, which also resulted in a fatality and serious injuries.
The Sheriff’s Department is urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to determine the cause of this latest incident.
