PLACER COUNTY, CA – A truck overturned on Interstate 80 Tuesday, causing major westbound traffic delays, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Auburn Division.
The vehicle blocked one lane and temporarily closed the on-ramp at West Paoli Lane, disrupting traffic for several hours. CHP confirmed that the accident was non-injury.
By 10:30 a.m., crews had uprighted the truck and started removing its cargo, while lane 2 remained closed until the cleanup was completed.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the truck accident in Placer County but advised drivers to exercise caution in the area.
