Bakersfield Man Killed in Tejon Highway Crash
LAMONT, CA (February 29, 2024) — A tragic accident on Tejon Highway near Lamont claimed the life of a Bakersfield man late Wednesday night.
The 31-year-old was driving southbound when his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a wooden telephone pole, causing the car to overturn and land on its roof.
Responding at 11:09 p.m., CHP officers found the driver deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest alcohol may have played a role in the fatal Tejon Highway crash, which is still under thorough investigation by authorities.
