SACRAMENTO, CA – A California Highway Patrol (CHP) vehicle was destroyed, and an officer was taken to the hospital following an accident in Sacramento that occurred Tuesday night.
According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the collision happened around 10:23 p.m. at the intersection of Stockton Boulevard and Mack Road. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but officials confirmed the officer sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the traffic accident in Sacramento to determine what led to the collision.
