One teenager has been killed with five others sustaining major injuries after their truck violently slammed into a tree near Island Way and Baby Beach in Dana Point Tuesday afternoon.
The collision happened at around 11:45 a.m.. Local authorities presume that the vehicle crashed into a tree in the center divider.
Upon further investigation, they confirmed that all of the victims involved in the collision were teenagers. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the five passengers were rushed to the hospital with three in critical condition.
The victims have not yet been identified.
