SANTA CLARITA, CA (February 20, 2024) — Two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were taken to the hospital following a collision with a big rig on the 5 Freeway in Valencia, Santa Clarita, just before 9 p.m. Monday.
The accident occurred near Rye Canyon on the southbound lanes, leaving the patrol vehicle with significant damage to its front bumper.
