Pedestrian Accident Leads to Lane Closures on 110 Freeway LA
VERMONT-VISTA, CA (March 6, 2024) — Early Wednesday morning, a pedestrian incident on the 110 Freeway in the Vermont-Vista area of South Los Angeles resulted in a fatality.
California Highway Patrol officers were called to the scene at the southbound freeway near the Manchester Avenue on-ramp at 3:34 a.m., where they discovered a deceased individual on the roadway.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the location of the accident.
Following the pedestrian accident in LA, the CHP initiated a SigAlert, leading to the closure of four southbound lanes of the freeway to facilitate a thorough investigation.
