
ORANGE COUNTY, CA – A 58-year-old man was killed in a collision with a motorcyclist over the weekend in Santa Ana, Orange County. The incident occurred on February 1, just after 7 p.m., in the 1000 block of North Euclid Street.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the victim, Hoang Mai Phan of Garden Grove, was walking eastbound on Euclid Street when he was struck by a southbound motorcycle. Despite receiving treatment from emergency responders, Phan succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The motorcyclist remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No signs of alcohol or drug use were detected, though the investigation into the pedestrian-motorcycle collision in Santa Ana continues.
