A female driver driving the wrong way was killed in a collision involving a truck on State Route 58 near Tehachapi Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were notified of the crash at around 1:12 p.m. The woman was reportedly behind the wheel of a Jeep travelling west in the eastbound lanes when she crashed head-on into a Ram 1500 driving east.
The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the Ram 1500 was brought to the Kern Medical Center with injuries.
