Suspected DUI Crash in Silverado Canyon Leaves Two Dead
SILVERADO CANYON, CA (March 11, 2024) — A suspected drunk driving incident in the Silverado Canyon region resulted in a fatal head-on collision Saturday evening, claiming the lives of two men.
The crash, which happened on Santiago Canyon Road near Limestone Spur Road, involved a 1993 Toyota and a 2018 Ford, traveling in opposite directions, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.
The collision led to the immediate death of a 34-year-old man from La Habra, driving the Ford, at the scene. The second victim, a man from Santa Ana piloting the Toyota, succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital. Both individuals were the sole occupants of their vehicles at the time of the accident.
